Dr. Joaquín Azpilicueta has spent over 25 years in the medical devices sector with extensive international experience throughout EMEA and LATAM regions with Hewlett-Packard, Medtronic among other companies. He holds an MBA from the IE, Madrid, Spain, is a certified member of the board by the Spanish Instituto de Consejeros y Administradores (ICA) and has a degree in medicine and surgery from the University of Navarra with specialization in Cardiology.
Dr. Azpilicueta currently resides in Saint-Livres, Switzerland and acts as an advisor and board member of companies in the medical technology and e-Health sector and also serves as associate professor of the Instituto de Empresa.
Dr. Dennis Jiang holds PhD degree with highest honour in biomedical engineering from German Excellence University - Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Before the formation of Alpha Innomed, he was Managing Director - Asia Pacific Region at United Imaging Healthcare. During his tenure Dr. Jiang, starting from absolute scratch, established a multilevel regional organization and led the market entry with his strong entrepreneurial spirit. In 2019, Frost & Sullivan recognized this accomplishment with Asia-Pacific Best Practices Award. He also worked across various functions and geographies at Siemens AG, including serving as Vice President - Imaging & Therapy Division in Malaysia, where he achieved a successful business turnaround.
Dr. Walther Schulze is an expert in medical devices with strong international experience. He has worked in non-invasive cardiac imaging and is a technology specialist in algorithms and product development. He holds a Ph.D. in biomedical engineering and has a proven track record in research and management of international projects. Through his role in developing algorithms with EPMap-System GmbH, as well as with his position as Head of Development at EP Solutions, Switzerland, he has sharpened his profile in technology development, software engineering and clinical research. Dr. Schulze is familiar with proof-of-concept studies for medical devices and the design of ISO compliant processes. He is also the founder of Evolunis GmbH, a consultancy company. During his master study in electrical engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) he was a visiting student to both Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and National University of Singapore (NUS).
Mr. Cheng Qian has more than ten years of experience in medical device industry. He joined Siemens Healthcare as the first ever participant of Siemens Graduate Program in China after completing his master study at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Since then, Mr. Qian had gained a wealth of expertise in sales, marketing, product management and strategic planning at Siemens Healthcare, Philips and Neusoft Medical in China and Europe. He was largely involved in new product definition, development and launch in China. He is a certified expert of product life cycle management and a member of the standing committee of Strategic Alliance of MITT China. Before joining Alpha Innomed, he was in charge of a product marketing team at Neusoft Medical and took the lead of the entire process from the primitive design until grand launch of a product portfolio. Mr. Qian is heading Alpha Innomed China and fully committed to its success.
